What the Warranty Covers
Our 10-year workmanship warranty covers the physical installation work: the electrical wiring, switchboard modifications and structural mountings carried out by our accredited technicians.
It guarantees that the work has been executed with due care and skill, using fit-for-purpose materials, and in strict accordance with Australian Standards AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 5139.
We Rectify These at No Cost to You
- Improper or faulty installation workmanship
- Incorrect wiring, poor terminations or faulty electrical connections made by our team
- Premature degradation of installation materials we used, such as conduits, switchgear and isolation enclosures
- Water ingress into roofs or buildings caused directly by our penetrations or mounting installations
- The service, diagnostics and administrative labour to process eligible hardware claims with the manufacturer on your behalf
Workmanship vs Product Warranty
If a product fails rather than the installation, the claim sits with its manufacturer. We still handle the diagnostics and the paperwork to lodge that claim for you, and that service is covered by our warranty.
Our Workmanship Warranty
Covers how your system was installed. Provided by us, for 10 years from your installation date.
- Wiring, terminations and electrical connections
- Switchboard modifications
- Racking, mounting and roof penetrations
- Conduits, switchgear and isolation enclosures
Manufacturer Product Warranties
Cover the equipment itself. Provided by the manufacturer, for whatever term that product carries.
- Solar panels
- Inverters
- Battery modules
- EV chargers
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
So there are no surprises later, here is what sits outside the workmanship warranty.
Product faults
Faults, failures or degradation of the products themselves. Battery modules, solar panels and inverters are covered separately by their manufacturer warranties.
Weather and force majeure
Damage from extreme weather, lightning strikes, floods, fires or other events outside human control.
Pre-existing conditions
Faults caused by structural movement of the property, pre-existing roof degradation, or defects in the original wiring or switchboard that we did not install or modify.
Third-party work
Unauthorised modifications, tampering or repairs carried out by a third party or a non-accredited electrician after our installation.
Impact and pests
Damage from accidental impact, structural shifting of the property, or severe pest or rodent infestation.
Wear, tear and the grid
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes that do not affect safety or performance, and system dropouts or damage caused by grid fluctuations, power surges or over-voltage events from the network.
Limitation of Liability
No consequential loss. To the extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law, Envision Energised is not liable for any indirect, economic or consequential loss. This includes, without limitation, compensation for lost solar generation, missed feed-in tariffs or increased grid electricity costs incurred while a system is awaiting inspection, repair or replacement.
Service timelines. While we endeavour to assess claims promptly, we are not liable for delays caused by manufacturer hardware shortages, shipping delays, or a failure by the customer to provide safe, unhindered access to the installation site.
Nothing in this warranty limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
